Situated 45 minutes north of Cairns International and Domestic Airport, Port Douglas is the closest gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Travelling by road from Cairns to Port Douglas is a spectacular coastal drive along pristine palm fringed sandy beaches. There are many areas to pull off the highway and enjoy a picnic or stroll along deserted beaches.

Port Douglas is on a small peninsula, it ends at Flagstaff Hill where a lookout at the summit provides breathtaking 360 degree views of the Coral sea , beaches, village, canefarms and mountain ranges falling onto the coast. The relaxed seaside village offers something for everyone, cafes, restaurants, gallerys, boutiques, accommodation, it can be as exciting or laidback as you wish to make it.
