Port Douglas 1 Night “ SLEEP ON THE REEF “ Itinerary

Day One: Arrive by courtesy chauffeur driven car transfer from your Port Douglas accommodation to the Meridien Marina.
A morning departure from Port heading to the Outer Great Barrier Reef to begin activities such as snorkelling, swimming, scuba diving or fishing.

A variety of reef locations to explore during the day with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea prepared by your on- board Chef.
Sunset drinks and canapés at Phantoms overnight mooring either at the Reef or the lagoon haven of Low Isles provides a relaxing finish to the day whilst Chef prepares the evening meal.

Day Two: If having woken at Low Isles guests can choose to have the morning to walk and swim at this tropical island, before heading to the reef to snorkel , fish or scuba. Or you may decide to spend the day here, Low Isles is ideal for a beach day with turtle spotting in the lagoon.

The charter returns into Port in the afternoon for transfers to your accommodation .

Port Douglas to Lizard Island 3 night Itinerary

Day One : Morning departure from Port Douglas to cruise the Outer Great Barrier Reef. A days adventure to snorkel , swim , fish or scuba dive a variety of reef locations. Relax at the end of the day on the aft deck for sunset drinks and canapés. Overnight mooring at the reef before an early departure to slowly cruise north Hope Isles.

Day Two: Awaken to the beautiful secluded island of Hope Isles . Enjoy a tropical breakfast on Phantom before
being taken by tender over to the island. A Robinson Crusoe experience to explore the island , about 40 minutes to walk around. Or simply relax on the golden sands and snorkel the protected coral fringe. Snorkel scooters are ideal to use in the shallow waters for the young at heart . Min age of 10yrs. The day is spent here with all meals provided on Phantom. A late night departure sees Phantom cruise towards Lizard Island.

Day Three: Lizard Island is a majestic, rugged, mountainous island that can be seen for miles on your ocean approach. Surrounded by dozens of beaches in secluded coves, mostly accessible by boat only. Watsons Bay is the point of entry for our arrival – with breakfast served to a backdrop of island beauty. A beach walk to historical lookouts with great views is guaranteed .

Secluded beaches to snorkel or a trip to the Ribbon Reef # 10 “The Cod Hole“. This reef is about 50 min east of Lizard island and is home to Potato Cod Fish . A colony of about 6 -8 who are not shy at meeting scuba divers. This reef is also suitable for snorkellers with beautiful coral and hundreds of variety of fish and marine life. The evenings anchorage is in Watsons Bay to view the last sunset over northern tropical waters.

Day Four: Spend the morning exploring the beaches, walks, in and around Lizard Island.  Enjoying lunch on Phantom before your scheduled flight to Cairns. Crew will escort you to your flight and see you on board.
 

Two Daily shared flights are available from the island. At 1230 pm arriving 130 pm in Cairns and 330pm arriving 430pm in Cairns. Flights are prebooked at time of booking Phantom - strict flight terms and conditions apply.

Extra Day: An early morning departure from Hope Island Sees Phantom arrive at the Endeavour River the site of the Historical township of Cooktown.

Guests are offered a variety of tours to do and these are prebooked when booking Phantom . Tours are subject to terms and conditions of the individual operator. Tours are not included in the Phantom Charters quote.

Phantom’s Captain will arrange with guests a reboarding / departure schedule for the day. Phantom will leave Cooktown in the afternoon to resume the journey north towards Lizard island.
